She’s here! Reese Campbell Bartz arrived at 10:28 this morning. 7 lbs, 19.5″. Her mama is a rock star, and she’s already lived up to her breastfeeding expectations (making grandma proud).

It’s year number three, and Jay shaving his head again in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! Click Here To Donate >
Jay & I wanted to make something special for “our niece Reese”. After Sarah found a cardboard version of a wishing wall, she was considering buying, we decided that something similar, but more personal, and made with better materials than cardboard was in order. Friends & family wrote their wishes on pieces of paper and they are rolled up and put into the holes of wishing wall. It will be on the wall in the baby’s room, and Sarah plans to read her wishes to her…until she can read them on her own. Behold…The Wishing Wall.

As the “Auntie-To-Be” I couldn’t be more excited about the impending arrival of Sarah & Josh’s little one. Jessica Hamlin Photography took some photos of her belly, so I thought I’d post them to tide you over until Reese makes her debut.

I am happy to announce that I have been selected as the winner of the St. Baldrick’s T-shirt design contest for this year. So everyone who participates (including my husband) will be sporting a t-shirt that I designed, how fun is that? You can read all about it here >

I threw a fabulous baby shower for my sister who will give birth to “my niece Reese” in January. And once again I failed on the photo front. I couldn’t like a milestone event like this slip by without even a mention!… So, if you’d like to see some great shots from the baby shower (courtesy of Rebecca, a gal that has a good camera and isn’t afraid to use it) click here!
In October, we took a trip to Idaho to visit Jay’s parents. They recently relocated from New York State to just 5 hours away from us, and we are thrilled at the fact that we can drive there and Murphy can come too!

I adore this video that Kristi sent me, it’s very Bollywood meets Julie Andrews, and oh how I wish people would just burst into giant choreographed routines in public places. Wouldn’t that be fantastic?
I faithfully use binder clips on anything that needs to be clipped. Paperclips are so 1990.
I adore the musical “Oklahoma”! (but could do without the song “Poor Judd is Dead”)
